Garden Bean

Description

Each piece is an original work, carefully painted with oilpaint. Prices reflect the time, materials, and care poured into every brushstroke. This painting began long before paint ever touched my brush. In January 2026, I planted many seeds, including broad beans. It was my first time growing them. Over the following months, I watched them push through the soil, reach toward the sun, bloom, and produce their first pods. Somewhere along the way, I became captivated, not only as a gardener, but as an artist. This piece grew from that quiet transformation: a journey from seed to canvas. By slowing down and truly observing something as humble and remarkable as a blossoming bean plant, I discovered a deeper kind of beauty. As I often say, you have never truly seen until you must create, and you have never truly experienced until you must edit. Every brushstroke carries that experience, the patience, wonder, imperfections, and small discoveries that made it real. This artwork stands as a reflection of my Seed to Canvas philosophy: the idea that creativity begins long before the act of making, taking root in moments of curiosity, growing through observation, and finally blooming into something that can be shared. For now, it has found its home on this website, a lasting reminder that even the smallest seed can become a story worth telling.
